A fine pair of early George II side chairs in well figured and patinated walnut with burgundy leather seats

The pierced back splat carved with foliage and shell motifs, under a serpentine crest rail with fish scale decoration. The original burgundy leather covered seats, standing on cabriole legs carved with acanthus leaves and terminating in ball and claw feet.
