A very fine and delicate Regency style marble fireplace

With carved paterae blockings in each top corner, between these is a frieze carved with a guilloche pattern having single flower heads.

This fireplace is based on an original chimneypiece from the early 19th century designed by Irish architect, Francis Johnston.
